Vozy Peugeot 208 Rally 4 ovládly stupně vítězů na Rallye Monte-Carlo
Vozy Peugeot 208 Rally 4 předvedly v různorodých podmínkách Rallye Monte-Carlo vynikající výkony a suverénně ovládly stupně vítězů. A co víc, v kategorii RC4 se do top 10 dostalo hned šest vozů značky Peugeot!
Posádky našly v Peugeotu 208 Rally 4 obávanou, spolehlivou a ve všech rychlostních zkouškách vysoce výkonnou zbraň. Jednou z velkých výhod byla i technická podpora týmů Peugeot Sport a Michelin, které každé posádce pomohly najít správné nastavení vozů s ohledem na nepředvídatelné a měnící se podmínky na silnici.
Nicolas Latil a Jérôme Degout z týmu CHL Sport Auto zajeli v kategorii RC4 devětkrát nejlepší čas a vytvořili si tak náskok před skupinou za sebou, v níž byly posádky Thibault Lefebvre/Marine Lacrus a Frédéric Roussel/François Gilbert z týmu Express Auto Sport. Trojice jezdců na prvních třech místech držela po celou dobu stabilní tempo, což vozům Peugeot přineslo v cíli „triple“.
Rallyový nováček Peugeot 208 Rally 4 nebyl jediným modelem Peugeot, který Rallye Monte-Carlo zazářil. Jeho předchůdce, vůz 208 R2, pod vedením švýcarské posádky Sacha Althause/Lisiane Wbinden podal působivý výkon a skončil jako nejlepší R2 na 4. místě v pořadí třídy RC4.

Peugeot 208 Rally 4 šlapal jako hodinky, byl extrémně spolehlivý. Je to fantastické auto pro rallye. Pneumatiky Michelin si vedly velmi dobře, museli jsme udělat odvážná rozhodnutí, abychom dosáhli tohoto skvělého výsledku.“
